Position: Temporary Account Manager (Potential for Permanent Position)
Location: Caythorpe Office- NG32 area
Salary: £28k - £30k
Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:30

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable temporary Account Manager to join waste and recycling company. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on performance. You will be responsible for managing a variety of tasks across different sites, including weekly requirements, invoicing, and reporting. The role will also require you to book collections with buyers, set up sites in the ELMOS system, and ensure that all metal loads are processed, invoiced, and reconciled for the entire UK.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the Account Manager for Rutland CC, Leics CC, LCC HWRCs, and other accounts.
* Handle monthly local authority reporting and invoicing.
* Coordinate weekly sampling schedules and track progress.
* Monitor and report internal DMR quality as required.
* Conduct duty of care audits.
* Manage daily inbound bookings and raise disposal purchase orders.
* Oversee outbound fuel administration, both UK and export.
* Process gypsum and wood chip orders.
* Provide cover for Key Account Manager and Sales Manager as required.
* Handle ad hoc project management tasks.
* Perform general office duties, including answering the phone.
Person Specification:
Essential:
* GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
* Proven administrative experience.
* Proficient in IT, especially Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
* Ability to prioritize workloads and work to tight deadlines.
* Strong communication skills (telephone, written, and face-to-face).
* A confident and friendly manner with the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels.
Desirable:
* Degree-level qualification.
* Experience in account management.
* Knowledge of the waste industry.
* Geographical knowledge.
* Multi-tasking and relationship-building skills.
Additional Information:
* Comprehensive training on the metals-related tasks will be provided, with a minimum of one week's training for those already familiar with ELMOS.
* The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a willingness to learn and develop within the role
