The Exciting Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available to join our dynamic and friendly Exams and Registry Team. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and dedicated Registry Assistant to be a part of our growing team. This is a full-time role, covering maternity leave for a 12-month period.
The successful candidate will be primarily based at our Accrington and Rossendale campus but may be required to travel across sites.
What you will be doing as a Member of the Management Information Systems (MIS) Team:
1. Processing student enrolments (online, paper, and telephone-based)
2. Processing student withdrawals and transfers
3. Setting up courses and registers
4. Inputting of timetables and supporting rooming requests
5. Working closely with the Curriculum and Support services to ensure student records are accurate and up to date
6. Contributing to the accurate recording of data to ensure compliance with funding regulations
7. Support the wider MIS team during busy exam periods
8. Supporting the Exams and Registry manager with gathering data and evidence for audit reviews
9. Undertaking regular data checks
What We Are Looking For:
1. 4 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English at grade C/4 or above (or demonstrable experience)
2. Experience of working on and inputting data on a computerised information system
3. Good working knowledge and practical experience of using Excel (desirable)
4. Experience of Management Information Systems and Registry procedures (desirable)
5. Experience of working with the EBS student records systems (desirable)
6. Experience of working in an Exams office (desirable)
