About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchasing Administrator to join our client, a family run manufacturing company. This exciting opportunity will see you work closely with the General Manager, ensuring the efficient management of parts inventory and procurement operations. The Purchaser will be responsible for purchasing, cost optimisation, and supplier negotiations, all while ensuring a smooth flow of processes and services within the company. This is a hands-on role where you will work with production management and other departments to meet the manufacturing and customer fulfilment goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the purchasing process, constantly seeking alternatives to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality products.
Provide regular cost reporting to the management team.
Ensure inventory levels are maintained to meet production requirements and manage ordering of new stock.
Oversee booking-in and inspection processes, ensuring quality standards are adhered to throughout.
Provide support and advice to customers as needed.Skills & Qualifications:
