Job Description
CMC are looking for a Mechanical Site Technician for one of our clients, for an Energy Project in Chester.
You will be expected to:
* Install, maintain & repair mechanical systems and equipment on site, including HVAC, plumbing and machinery.
* Conduct regular inspections on mechanical systems and preventive maintenance where needed to ensure highest performance and compliance with safety standards.
* Utilise technical knowledge and tools to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
* Required to work alongside other site technicians, contractors and engineers closely to coordinate tasks and optimise workflow.
* Prepare and deliver detailed reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities and potential improvements to management.
* Make sure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant environmental regulations & health and safety.
To apply for this role you must have (please read before applying):
* NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
* Relevant certifications, such as City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications in Mechanical systems and maintenance.
* Previous experience in Mechanical maintenance or installation roles, preferably in a site or industrial environment.
* Experience with specific equipment or systems relevant to the industry (e.g. HVAC, machinery, plumbing).
* Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7AM-5:30PM.
* Valid equivalent CSCS Card.
