Job Description
We are currently seeking a Regional Inventory Operations Manager to join our expanding operation at our Northampton based site. In this pivotal role, you will oversee inventory management across two adjacent sites, driving operational efficiency and ensuring optimal stock control to meet the needs of the business.
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm. We’re offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a market leader.
* Leading a process compliance culture to achieve fully systemic depots with 99.98% stock accuracy.
* Using weekly governance and business analytics to measure inventory performance (process compliance/PI queries/nil picks/back to stocks) and have a continuous improvement programme to consistently raise standards in stock control and accuracy.
* Deliver inventory operations to budget.
* Identify, establish, and drive best practice for stock-related activities across the sites under your ownership and ultimately the ability to fulfil orders accurately and on time.
* Develop routines and procedures that contribute to maintaining accurate stock files and effective stock management within the sites.
* Ensure accurate, timely, and effective stock management within the sites to ensure a fully accurate and dynamic stock file.
* Ensure perpetual inventory cycles are managed and monitored.
* Fully optimise the warehouse layout and storage of all goods on site through location management.
* Deliver motivated and high-performing teams at each site, setting clear KPIs and objectives to ensure high standards of achievements.
* Drive productivity & efficiencies & maximise cost savings within your allocated sites.
* Deliver a consistent approach across sites which utilises the system to manage stock compliance to the commercial advantage of iForce and its customers.
Qualifications
To apply for the role of Regional Inventory Operations Manager, you will possess the following skills, experiences, and qualifications:
* A confident operator with experience in stock management and accuracy reporting of large stock files within a narrow/wide aisle racked warehouse.
* Excellent communicator across several boundaries who can influence remotely and in person.
* Excellent knowledge of data analysis and ability to effectively translate to identify issues/trends and patterns & solutions.
* Ability to build strong relationships with other Regional Inventory Operations Managers in a collaborative manner to deliver a network approach.
* Lead by example and set high standards of behaviour & performance.
* Customer focused with commercial awareness of managing client SLAs, measuring and monitoring performance using various IT systems.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships quickly at all levels.
* Able to work on own initiative and to strict deadlines.
* People Management - Ability to build an effective team in a dynamic and changing environment.
* Strong planning and analytical skills.
* Excellent Excel skills.
* Enthusiasm, drive, and a can-do personality with a continuous improvement ‘mindset’.
* UK Driving licence.
