Are you a detail-oriented professional with a background in finance operations, payments, or contract processing? Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a Finance Operations Administrator to support their team in key purchasing functions, payment applications, and documentation control. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing essential support across multiple business functions.
As a Finance Operations Administrator, you will:
* Manage daily processing and distribution of incoming posts, including mail, emails, and faxes.
* Conduct due diligence for contracts, including purchasing and returns for leasing, subscriptions, and franchise finance.
* Post manual and electronic payments, including customer transactions, direct debits, and payments.
* Process account adjustments, terminations, and support desk queries.
* Analyse overpayments across UK and European databases.
* Oversee agreement-related invoicing, documentation imaging, and database maintenance.
* Manage customer direct debit databases and process lease deposits.
* Maintain operational logs and respond to franchisees, sales managers, and customer inquiries.
* Support contract auditing, compliance reviews, and operational process improvements.
* Handle customer complaints and escalate as necessary to ensure resolution.
Skills and attributes my client is looking For:
* Minimum 5 GCSEs (A-C), including Mathematics; A-Levels preferred.
* Basic financial accounting knowledge and experience in a finance or operations role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* A proactive, positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
