Renowned for delivering innovative and sustainable projects across the commercial and industrial sectors, they are seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join their northern office.
Structural Project Engineer Role:
As a Structural Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning, analysis, and design of building structures. You will work closely with architects, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of engineering solutions. This position also includes supporting the management team in developing and maintaining client relationships.

Structural Project Engineer Key Responsibilities:
Develop solutions that meet both client needs and business goals
Manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously
Support Principal Engineers, Associates, and Directors
Ensure high-quality design outcomes and client satisfaction
Apply sound structural engineering principles in daily tasks
Deliver projects in accordance with current Eurocode and British Standards
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, reports, and specifications
Attend site visits to monitor construction progress and resolve technical issues
Maintain clear and accurate project documentation
Contribute to cost estimates, budgets, and commercial discussions
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and innovations
What They Are Looking For:
Essential:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in structural design (steelwork, reinforced concrete, masonry)
HNC in Civil or Structural Engineering
Proficient in structural analysis software and CAD tools
Experience designing to Eurocodes and British Standards
Knowledge of current building regulations and compliance requirements
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Desirable:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Chartered or working towards Chartership
Familiarity with STAAD.Pro, SCIA, and Revit
Project management and leadership capabilities
