About the role: Are you a highly organised individual with admin or customer service experience? If so, we need to hear from you If you consider yourself to be self motivating with an aptitude to develop your own skill set whilst recognising prioritisation is a key factor in this role. You could be what you have been looking for The successful Ledger Clerk will be joining a busy, vibrant Accounts Payable team, where routine and organisation is key The ideal candidate will have previous administration or customer service experience with a keen eye for detail in a high volume busy environment, be great at building professional relationships and have excellent data entry skills. Role duties: Answering phone queries Inputting bills – rental payments, utility bills, leases. Covering central inboxes Opening post Querying different bills Working collaboratively with other departments Inputting a high volume of supplier invoices with speed and accuracy Investigating and resolving supplier queries General maintenance of the purchase ledger Other ad-hoc finance tasks as required Data entry and statement reconciliation All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship. Role Criteria: Previous administration experience within a fast paced, volume lead position. If you have Accounts or Ledger experience this would be advantageous but not essential A strong administrator with excellent IT and database skills – confident in using Excel You will be tenacious, organised, self-motivated, a confident communicator – able to liaise with internal employees or any suppliers, communicate with a broad range of personalities and business managers Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage your own workload Professional, confidential individual that is adaptable to change Flexibility to take on other duties that are not included in this job description to help the wider organisation as this is an ever-evolving team.
