A new opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant to join an international manufacturing company in a 3 month contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
To provide purchasing (Intercompany and Outsourced) support for the Australian business by driving continuous improvement activities in the purchasing function. Key functions of the role include (but are not limited to) :
* Ensuring goods are available in a timely manner.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to address timeframe of orders and ensuring an efficient transition from P2P process.
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / PERSON PROFILE :
* Relevant experience in a Customer Service / Supply Chain role
* SAP working knowledge, specifically as a MRP tool, P2P Process
* High level of competence in Microsoft Excel
* Comfortable in interacting with Senior Managers
