The role
As an Information Assurance Administrator, you will be responsible for providing a high level of professional Information Assurance (IA) support across the Missions Systems business.
Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for supporting the effective delivery of all IA related matters ensuring key support functions are delivered in a smart, flexible and holistic manner to ensure the business continues to operate safely and securely.
Main responsibilities will be:
• Supporting the development of the Mission Systems ISMS and ISO Certification.
• Supporting the implementation of a program leading to ISO Certification.
• Conduct internal and external auditing activity in support of maintaining the ISMS.
• Maintaining all records and IA Policy / Process documentation in support of the ISMS and ISO continued Certification.
• Providing essential support to both internal and external stakeholders to enable an open and transparent working relationship focused on resolving issues as they arise as well as supporting the development of specific plans for change to meet key customer requirements.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel across a range of internal and customer sites on a monthly basis alongside home working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Information Assurance Administrator:
• Providing customer facing ISO / ISO advice and guidance.
• A broad understanding of computer and network technical architecture.
Qualifications of the Information Assurance Administrator:
• Ideally hold a Degree in a relevant subject or working towards it with relevant experience.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role with the ability to gain Developed Vetting (DV) once in post if required.
