Hours: Full time - 35 hours per week/ 70 hours over two weeks (nine-day fortnight)
The role
We are currently looking to recruit a number of Property Surveyors to join our Asset Management team here at Housing 21.
Within the role of Property Surveyor, you will support the delivery of the Asset Management Service. This will include, surveying and technical support, contributing to the smooth and efficient delivery of the Asset Management strategy.
You will work closely as part of the Housing 21 Surveying team, helping deliver the capital investment programme, cyclical maintenance and statutory maintenance services, to time and budget, in line with legislation, Housing 21 policy, capital programme and strategic objectives.
This is a mobile role where frequent travel across the area you cover will be required in order to fulfil the requirements of the role.

What we’re looking for
The essential requirements for the role include:
• HND qualification in a building surveying related subject
• Experience in a surveying role in a housing association, private practice, local authority, or similar.
• Experience of contract administration responsibilities in a range of major works projects, including preparing tender documentation, cost analysis and budgetary control, site management, supervising contractors, quality control and certification
• A good understanding of current health and safety legislation, CDM (including Principal Designer experience) and comprehensive knowledge of other building related statutory obligations
• Knowledge and experience of Building Safety and Compliance good practice and statutory requirements
