The Role
To enable the availability of accurate data for statutory returns and management information in order to ensure the Council reports its functions accurately, that service planning is targeted, that managers can be assured work is appropriately being undertaken and practitioners can effectively plan their work.
To support practitioners and frontline managers in ensuring that case records are accurate for individual children and young people.
Essential Skills
1. Strong judgement skills to identify problems and an awareness of when issues need to be taken to line managers
2. Ability to interpret information and data according to set rules and procedures
3. Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
4. Communication skills to regularly exchange information orally and in writing with the team and managers
5. Keyboarding skills with emphasis on considerable levels of both precision and speed in order to complete tasks to standard and within timescales
Essential Qualifictions
Exceptionally competent with IT and MS Office especially Excel
Literacy and numeracy grade A*-C (9-4) at GCSE
