My client is looking for a team-oriented Store Manager who is service and experience-focused. The ideal candidate will have experience organically developing their client base from a proactive CRM strategy while developing and leading a team.
This role would suit someone passionate, a real driver, and with an entrepreneurial mindset, as opposed to someone coming from a high-volume/transactional luxury brand.
Based within a luxury Department Store, the Manager is responsible for achieving sales objectives and store profitability goals, achieving and maintaining high operational and merchandising standards, building a highly motivated team, and developing sales associates.
Key responsibilities:
* Identify, recruit, develop and retain best-in-class talent.
* Develop and establish a relationship with the personal shopping team within the Department Store.
* Develop a robust CRM strategy.
* Ensure the highest level of customer service daily and the impeccable selling ceremony.
* Coach, develop, motivate, and challenge the team regularly by setting clear goals, engaging the team through regular meetings and touch-bases, and building and maintaining team spirit.
* Set individual objectives for each team member and support them in reaching them.
* Hold midterm evaluations and yearly formal evaluations.
* Create development plans for sales staff and management.
* Effective use of POS system and its inventory management functions.
* Provide daily, weekly, monthly qualitative and quantitative business reports as required.
* Complete all store administration tasks in an accurate and timely fashion.
* Ensure compliance with all internal control procedures: maintain inventory accuracy.
* Build and develop a network of people who have an impact on local, national and international luxury businesses in order to promote customer loyalty, especially with top clients and VIPs.
* Develop a store business plan that includes marketing and promotional strategies to continue driving traffic to the store and developing and growing the customer base, with particular emphasis on building the final (local/tourist) customer segment.
* Be aware of the local market and business environment including competitor’s business activities and luxury goods market trends.
* Continuously motivate and coach sales associates to meet assigned sales or cross-selling categories & productivity goals.
* Demonstrate sales leadership for staff by playing an active role on the selling floor.
* Provide feedback on product assortment, buying trends and customer requests.
The role would include commission and a very generous bonus.
