Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using both hand and power tools. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various settings, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. This role requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities
1. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
2. Assemble and weld pipes, fittings, and fixtures as required.
3. Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
4. Utilise basic maths skills for measuring and calculating materials needed for projects.
5. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
6. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects on time.
7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Experience
1. Proven experience as a Plumber or similar role is preferred.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
3. Experience with commercial driving may be beneficial for transporting tools and materials to job sites.
4. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
5. Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations is an advantage.
