Im looking for someone to join our small team who has experience in collecting commercial, residential rent and service charge for our portfolio of 100 properties, which are mostly based within London. The hours are part time at 2 days per week for an annual salary of £18,000 - £20,000 depending on experience. We work in our Woking based office from Tuesday to Thursday from 9:30am - 5:30pm. Please note, it is a possibility that your working days may increase to 3 days, but this would be depending on the needs of the business and would be reflected in your salary accordingly. Within our commercial units you will be responsible for issuing quarterly demands, sending 7-day letters, chasing tenants if arrears are still present, instructing bailiffs, under authorization and liaising with them regarding any payments received. You will also be responsible for submitting quarterly VAT returns. Within our service charge you will be responsible for sending demands for ground rent, insurance and service charge on a biannual basis. Within our residential units you will be responsible for collecting the rent and speaking to tenants if they fall into arrears and potentially negotiating payment plans. Our residential portfolio also includes regulated tenancies, and you will be responsible for contacting them if they fall into arrears. You will be responsible for allocating rent received against each tenant, allocating our expenses and liaising with the accountants for any queries. You will also be responsible for arranging payments on a weekly basis and liaising with our property manager if you have any queries. Currently our book-keeping is carried out manually and given our portfolio size, I would like to be on-boarded onto Xero. We have a casual work wear environment. Any travel and parking costs would be reimbursed monthly. It is essential to have experience in the following: - At least 3 years at using Xero and onboarding a client - At least 3 years carrying out rent collection and bookkeeping for commercial and residential units It is preferable to have experience in service charge accounts and collecting any arrears ADZN1_UKTJ
