Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Manage Schedules: Create detailed project schedules and programmes using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar software, based on design inputs and project requirements.
2. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with design, engineering, and construction teams to develop schedules that ensure smooth project delivery and alignment with project goals.
3. Analyse and Optimise: Input project data into scheduling software, analyse critical paths, and provide insights to optimise timelines and resources.
4. Monitor Progress: Regularly track and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules and making adjustments as needed.
5. Support Decision-Making: Provide critical scheduling and planning insights to support informed decision-making across the project team.
Requirements:
1. Extensive Experience: Project management and planning within the construction industry, ideally on large-scale projects such as industrial, pharmaceutical or data centres (£100M+).
2. Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar planning and scheduling tools.
3. Understanding of Construction: Deep knowledge of building construction processes and principles.
4. Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
5. Location: Must be based in North East England. With a strong pipeline of work, your work will be centred in this area.
