Role Overview
You will already be an experienced consultant in the sustainability space with both project management and people management experience.
As we experience growth, you will play a key role in developing our team and help strengthen delivery, maximize efficiencies and capacity.
You will work with and support the head of sustainability to ensure the delivery of team budgets.
You will also help develop the development and training plan for the team to facilitate career progression and retention of staff.
Essential duties and responsibilities
1. Manage a team of 6-7 consultants helping to develop and nurture their careers.
2. Manage and deliver multiple projects.
3. Represent the company at events, conferences and workshops (both online and in person).
4. Drive and explore new areas of sustainability consultancy.
5. Support and drive elements of business development.
Requirements
1. Proven consulting experience within sustainability.
2. Proven people management experience in line with our company values.
3. Broad knowledge of the Agri-food industry, sustainability, GHG emissions and carbon sequestration.
4. Prior experience and confidence in representing the company at events.
5. Strong communication skills both with customers as well as internal stakeholders.
6. Experience and expertise with MS suite of software.
