Job Title: ESOL Tutor
Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire-based Further Education provider
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Salary: £22 – £22 Per hour + statutory holiday pay
Job Description
Job Duties:
1. Deliver English For Work lessons to Speakers of Other Languages
2. Develop lesson plans and teaching materials
3. Assess student progress and provide feedback
4. Support students in improving their English language skills
5. Monitor attendance and participation in classes
Required Qualifications:
6. CELTA or equivalent teaching qualification
7. Experience in teaching English to speakers of other languages
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
9. Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching ESOL
Knowledge and Skills:
10. Understanding of language acquisition principles
11. Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
Preferred Qualifications:
12. Postgraduate qualification in TESOL or Applied Linguistics
13. Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
14. Delivering on Mondays for 10 weeks starting 23/09/2024
15. Session time: 18:45 – 20:45
