Position: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Leeds
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + package

Working on developments throughout the West & South Yorkshire regions within a close knit commercial team.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain all cost control procedures, and work within the guidelines set out within the Group policies and procedures.
2. Be responsible for the compilation of all weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required.
3. Be aware of new materials and methods of construction which the company may employ, as well as a sound knowledge of latest regulations, codes of practice and NHBC requirements.
4. Be responsible for all cost control procedures, including managing and controlling the budget and valuations by always updating the estimated final costs, and having the ability to show absolute cost and value reconciliation.
5. Process Subcontract orders, payments and variations, using Excel and Group payment system (COINS) in line with Group policy and procedures.
6. Liaise with site personnel and subcontractors in order to maximise productivity.
Skills & Requirements:
1. Qualified to HND level or higher with a valid CSCS card.
2. Must have a full understanding of current market conditions and rates.
3. Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail, able to gather, interpret and present data to facilitate preparation of budgets and subsequent valuations.
4. Strong communication skills, the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally.
5. Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC and Health and Safety requirements.
