The Opportunity We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager (Fixed Term Contractor, or Freelance) with strong product management skills to join our dynamic team. If you have a proven track record in digital agencies, specifically in web and mobile development, UX/UI design, or multi-platform projects, we want to hear from you You’ll be at the forefront of delivering digital projects of all sizes, from initial concept through to final launch, managing project scope, resources, timelines, and budgets to meet 383's strategic goals. You’ll bring your expertise in multiple project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) to lead complex projects and manage multiple client relationships concurrently. You must also have experience in Digital Product Delivery, including owning the product backlog, creating user stories and acceptance criteria, planning sprints, and leading scrum ceremonies. Your Role Lead and deliver high-value digital projects, ensuring they meet financial and strategic objectives. Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment with client goals. Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and adjust as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements. Coordinate cross-functional teams (designers, developers, strategists) to deliver innovative digital solutions. Facilitate client workshops to ensure critical decisions are made and stakeholders are engaged. Identify risks and issues in real-time and manage them proactively to keep projects on track. Mentor and support other project managers, sharing your knowledge and best practices. Contribute to refining and improving 383’s project management processes. Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date and prioritized based on stakeholder input and strategic goals. Create user stories and define acceptance criteria to guide development efforts. Plan and lead sprint planning sessions, ensuring team commitments align with project goals. Lead scrum ceremonies, including sprint demos and backlog refinement sessions, to maintain project momentum and transparency. About You We’re looking for someone with: 5 years of experience in digital project management, preferably in an agency setting. A strong track record in web/mobile development, design, or UX research. Experience managing complex digital projects with budgets over £75,000 for both domestic and international clients. Deep expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies and the flexibility to apply them appropriately across different projects. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify digital jargon for clarity and alignment. Proficiency in Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and other project management software (SmartSheet, Synergist). Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving them towards successful project outcomes. A commercial mindset with experience managing budgets, resource planning, and revenue forecasting. Proven experience in digital product delivery, including backlog management, user story creation, and sprint planning.
