My client is a legal 500 law firm, currently on the lookout for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a diverse portfolio of private client matters including Wills, Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning, Trusts, Probate, Estate Administration, Taxation of Trusts and Estates, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Deputyship applications.
2. Provide compassionate and clear legal advice to clients, handling sensitive and often distressing situations with empathy and professionalism.
3. Demonstrate a strong understanding of Testamentary Capacity requirements and navigate complex legal issues effectively.
4. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high standards of client care and satisfaction.
5. Engage in business development activities to promote our legal services, attract new clients, and enhance the firm's profile in the industry.
6. Contribute to the firm's growth through effective networking, marketing, and involvement in local community activities.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. A qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in private client law.
2. Proven experience in managing a broad range of private client matters with a track record of delivering exceptional service.
3. Excellent organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
4. Strong commercial acumen, with effective time management, billing practices, and client care skills.
5. A demonstrated ability to build trust with clients and referrers, along with experience in business development and marketing.
6. STEP qualification is desirable but not essential.
