Description Builds long term, strategic relationships with named and vertical business alliance partners. Facilitates the development of strategic marketing and new business plans for all assigned partners to meet or exceed assigned business goals. Works with Partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies. Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts to leverage corporate initiatives and to ensure adherence to Alliances and Channel standards. Monitor partners business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase penetration for the strategic partners. Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Responsibilities The CRO Alliances Director is responsible for identifying relevant new business opportunities, developing strategic account plans; designing and facilitating "go-to-market" plans to deliver measurable and significant CRO revenues. The CRO Alliances Director pursues sales opportunities in the market and carries the Business Development & Go-To-Market responsibilities within CRO focused sales. The CRO Alliances Director requires a deep understanding of the clinical space, clinical data management, and the associated EDC/eClinical applications used to manage clinical trial data. The CRO Alliances Director must demonstrate the ability to drive product adoption discussions based on credibility and knowledge across multiple domains: including pharma/biotech, CRO, technology partnership. The CRO Alliances Director must demonstrate the ability to challenge customers to adopt new operating models and change their traditional way of thinking. This role will be primarily responsible for driving Oracle Clinical One and Oracle Argus Safety One strategy and growth. In this role, the CRO Alliance Director will work closely with the sales team to ensure customer success, and develop the market approach. Responsible for growing and sustaining the customer base across the entire product portfolio for Oracle Clinical One and Argus Safety One Develop and execute the Oracle Clinical One strategic account plans and vision for CROs Use professional networks and relationships to assist with adoption Develop value-oriented materials oriented to CROs Provide thought leadership and sales support to teams in driving adoption of Oracle Clinical One and Safety One Provide business and technology guidance to the product team in support of new or enhanced features and functionality in clinical applications Create and advise on the Service Organization to support Oracle Clinical One scale-up and adoption Present with customers at industry conferences, lead webinars, assist in creating promotional materials, and author articles for industry publications Other special clinical projects as assigned Additional Responsible A CRO Alliances Director is assigned to strategic CRO accounts. Acts as primary liaison between Sales, Consulting, and Pre Sales for CRO sales opportunities. Generates business opportunities through prospecting mass market programs and GTM strategies. Develops and coordinates a relationships with CROs that establishes Oracle as a preferred vendor and optimizes Oracle's sales of product. Executes aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive the product as the preferred CRO selection. Provides account representatives with information on how the product addresses specific needs and assists account representatives in using Oracle's products to leverage large revenue opportunities. Assists in articulating product message, coordinates technical resources and hands off deals to a successful close. Conversant in CRO business and strategies. Proven track record in managing multiple opportunities and ability to negotiate and close complex deals. Ability to determine strategy and tactical plans that deliver tangible results. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable. Qualifications 10 combined experience selling enterprise consulting services or software to or for CROs Deep understanding of SaaS and Clinical Data Management people, processes, and technology Strong understanding of Enterprise Software sales cycles and associated Strategies & Tactics Bachelor’s degree Proven ability to innovate across business processes and technology solutions Ability to hold meaningful conversations with heads of clinical data management, clinical affairs/operations, and IT regarding Oracle Clinical One introduction, adoption, and scaling Ability to travel for customer meetings and presentations Knowledge of drug safety systems a plus
