About the role: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our well-resourced school in West Drayton. Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN/SEND teaching.
• Proven experience working with KS2 students in a SEN-focused setting.
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and experience implementing them.
• Ability to work effectively within a team, especially with TAs, to deliver cohesive support in the classroom.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging, individualized lesson plans for SEN students in KS2.
• Foster an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere that encourages growth, respect, and resilience.
• Work collaboratively with TAs to provide personalised support for students, ensuring every child’s unique needs are met.
• Monitor and report on student progress, making adjustments to lesson plans as necessary.
• Engage with parents and guardians to share updates on student achievements and collaborate on areas for improvement.
