Description This role requires a strong grasp of the big-picture – namely, how can technology help achieve business goals – as well as a keen ability to establish priorities, and manage resources and deliverables. You will be accountable for active portfolio oversight and governance across Global Technology’s significant initiatives. There are multiple key functions within the GT SIG Team that provide our objectives and services, of which, include providing elevated oversight and governance to the significant initiative portfolio. Within this team, you will be providing delivery management and consultancy support to significant initiatives which don’t adhere to standards or need support to resolve delivery issues / challenges. You will ensure appropriate data is included in portfolio governance and communications to drive transparency and decision making. There will be close collaboration with the other program portfolio functions and key stakeholders in Line of Business Portfolio Management Offices, Investment Governance, and Executive Management Reporting areas, working to enhance portfolio services & a data driven approach to drive active assurance and challenge of inflight significant initiative delivery to identify risk faster, building culture of effective escalation to resolve blockers. This role will require you to demonstrate strategic thinking and drive process improvements in the space, furthering our commitment to meeting our customer/stakeholder demands, and our own modernization and transformation agenda. You'll work closely with colleagues across the Global Technology, fostering collaboration, and promoting the values, culture, and brand of JPMorgan Chase & Co. This role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, including: • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience • Understanding of global and line of business project and program management standards and methods • Experience working with high-performing teams in complex program execution • Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methods; stakeholder management; budget management, risk management and operations • Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm
