Job Title: Futures & OTC Clearing Project Manager / Business Analyst
Location: Bromley or Camberley, with hybrid work options (3 day per week on-site required)
Duration: 12-month initial contract
Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Futures & OTC Clearing SME to lead a major migration project for a GMI platform, supporting a high-profile investment banking client. The project involves transitioning to a new software sandbox environment over the next five years. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of coding, analysis, and project management skills, with specific expertise in futures and OTC clearing.
This role will involve a mix of BAU work and the execution of the migration project, making it ideal for a candidate with solid analysis capabilities who can adapt to both project delivery and day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the migration of the GMI platform to a new software sandbox environment over a multi-year timeline.
2. Collaborate with operations and front-office teams to ensure smooth migration and integration of systems.
3. Work closely with coders and analysts, providing hands-on coding support and guidance as needed.
4. Manage the project timeline, ensuring milestones are met while balancing ongoing BAU responsibilities.
5. Conduct in-depth analysis of clearing processes, with a focus on futures and OTC clearing, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
6. Liaise with stakeholders across the business, including managers, operations, and IT, to align migration goals with business needs.
7. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards throughout the project.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Subject matter expertise in futures and OTC clearing is a must.
2. Strong coding experience on GMI or similar platforms; candidates from other platforms will also be considered.
3. Experience with migration projects, particularly in investment banking or financial services.
4. Proficiency with MS Office tools and relevant vendor systems.
5. Solid analytical skills with experience in business analysis (BA) or project management (PM).
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
