My client works within electro-mechanical manufacturing and they are looking to take on an Electro-mechanical Production Technician on a permanent basis in the Surrey area.
The Electro-mechanical Production Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
1. Previous experience working in a similar manufacturing environment
2. A qualification or experience in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering to confidently work on mechanical and electrical assembly
3. Any experience of working with lab equipment or medical devices is preferred
4. A good technical mindset – able to read drawings, work instructions, and parts lists
5. Excellent communication skills to liaise with different team members
6. Good time management capabilities
7. Self-motivated
8. Able to work well individually as well as part of a team
The Electro-mechanical Production Technician role will involve:
1. Helping the company deliver high-quality products
2. Working with medical devices / lab-based equipment
3. Working as part of a team of other Technicians and Assemblers
4. Carrying out electro-mechanical assembly work
5. Reading drawings and work instructions
6. Testing products when needed
7. Carrying out inspection tasks in line with company QA procedures
8. Always complying with Health & Safety requirements
9. Liaising with other members in the department
