Based on the Europarc in Grimsby, Auto-Trail is around 30 minutes from Hull, Scunthorpe, Louth and Market Rasen.

The role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Design Engineer to join our experienced design team. In this role, you will play a key part in the design and development of motorhomes and campervans, ensuring precision in technical drawings and contributing to the delivery of high-quality products.

About you and the role
1. Enthusiastic, flexible and passionate about all aspects of design
2. Knowledge of caravan/motorhome or similar furniture construction, materials & engineering practices in the industry would be ideal
3. Producing accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for motorhome components and assemblies
4. Collaborating with production and engineering teams to ensure designs meet technical and functional requirements
5. Maintaining an organised record of design documents and ensuring updates are made promptly
6. Assisting with problem-solving and design challenges as they arise during the production process
7. Experience or a good understanding of Solid Works PDM or similar drawing management systems
8. Demonstrating a proactive and interactive approach towards duties and colleagues, working to a high standard of work and attention to detail
9. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to demonstrate initiative and problem solving, with a desire to learn and develop
10. Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
