This key role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring a safe and efficient environment, and enhancing overall business performance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the operations team to exceed targets in productivity, cost control, customer service, and quality.
* Embedding a strong health, safety, and environmental compliance culture.
* Developing and fostering a customer-focused and continuous improvement mindset across all levels.
* Managing operational assets and ensuring machinery operates at optimum capability.
* Identifying and implementing opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
* Overseeing budgets and resources to meet business objectives effectively.
Requirements:
* Demonstrable experience in leading operations in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety practices, ideally with relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH.
* Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage operational budgets.
* Excellent leadership skills and experience managing teams to deliver high performance.
