Role Outline Health Partners have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team, based at our client site in Samlesbury, Lancashire. As an Occupational Health Nurse at Health Partners Group, you will play an integral role in team, providing a compassionate and professional clinical service that is instrumental in the quality of care that our clients receive. This role requires an ability to assess and manage minor injury and illness, deliver health and wellbeing initiatives, and work with external organisations and other healthcare professionals. It is a full time position where the successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 7.30am to 5.30pm between Monday and Thursday. We are pleased to offer flexibility to make this a hybrid role, working 2 days remotely from home (Mondays and Tuesdays) and 2 days on-site (Wednesdays and Thursdays). What you'll be doing: • Providing a full occupational health treatment service to employees on-site in line with the client contract. This is a varied role which will include wellbeing assessments; health promotion, advice and education; health surveillance; safety critical medicals; travel health; travel assessments; vaccinations; drug and alcohol testing, and more, following Health Partners Group guidelines and written instructions. • Offering professional advice, support and guidance to patients. • Assessing new clients presenting to Occupational Health. • Assessing individuals' fitness to work for the appropriate job role. • Providing clinical assessment of clients presenting with minor illness and injury. • Supporting the OH Manager to advise, monitor and assess the clinical practice of the OH team. • Ensuring clinical assessment skills are maintained in line with best practice. Skills • Experience working within A&E/intensive care • Previous Occupational Health experience is preferable • Registered Nurse (Part 1) • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise • Good IT skills to include the use of database systems, Outlook, Word, and Excel • Team player who welcomes challenge and is committed to results, curious to understand, learn and develop themselves and others Education & Qualifications • Bachelors Degree in Nursing • DiplomaSalary We are offering a competitive salary for this position, depending on qualifications and experience.
