Location – PAN India Description of Organization Enterprise Technology Transformation – Technology Transformation Office: ePMO Description of Role Cognizant is seeking an Associate Director (AD) to establish and manage the PPM CoE as enabling domain of the global Technology Transformation Office. The Transformation Office oversees 3 large programs: IT/CS Remediation & Modernization, Core Transformation (primarily HR & Finance) and Strategic Alignment of the organization to supporting Cognizant’s 3-year strategy. This position will be responsible for managing day to day cross functional business processes, governance and scorecard metrics for the IT/CS Modernization and Digitalization programs. The AD will also support Technology Transformation leadership by managing operational reporting on the health of key Transformation projects. The AD will also be responsible for the day to day management and oversight of third-party contractors brought to support the IT/CS Modernization, Digitization and Gen AI Programs. Furthermore, the AD will serve as a liaison across stakeholders (business, IT, Risk, Security, Data) helping with defining program requirements, developing go-forward plans, driving resolution of operational program issues. The role will report to the Global Leader of Technology Transformation, ePMO PPM Practice. Key Responsibilities Create & maintain a consistent world class business process management methodology and governance for all Enterprise Technology Transformation program management engagements. Design and deploy centralized and consistent cross functional processes, best practice governance frameworks and dashboards to support the effective execution of Modernization, Digitalization and Gen AI efforts. Engage program leadership with transformation change management efforts, stablishing change agents’ network, communications with periodic updates and presentations for Cognizant senior leadership. Drive Enterprise Technology strategic roadmap delivery, and enable core processes guidance, governance, and change management efforts. Ensure alignments across project, program, and portfolio management stakeholders. Provide insights and guidance on process enablement best practices based on industry standards and frameworks. Instill quality and consistency across delivery activities. Standardize the management of project plans across stakeholders and develop prioritized timelines to align with overall PPM maturity goals. Provide Enterprise Technology process and change management SME, stakeholder impact assessment, and process adoption expertise. Proactively identify and escalate risks, issues and concerns to program and portfolio leadership. Support PPM operational reporting platform and dashboards to enable governance stage gate process. Provide guidance to third party resources supporting business process reengineering program efforts. Support leadership with program financials reporting and participate in budgeting activities. Profile The successful AD will be an experienced program and process architect leader with proven ability to operate effectively in a complex, customer-focused, and evolving environment. S/he will have a demonstrated ability to establish process, governance, end user readiness assessments to support the execution of complex technology multi-stakeholder initiatives and deliver high quality results. Experience working with corporate leaders and stakeholders working at different degree of delivery maturity and driving Processes, Program and Portfolio Management alignment and integration across corporate silos. Experience in developing and delivering processes, ePMO governance, PPM tool and competency training, as well as awareness material to wide range of corporate audiences. MBA or Masters in Change Management/Comms. preferred but not required. At least 8 years of experience managing, consulting, or working in the fields of global PPM, ePMO, Program Management enablement technology, governance processes, delivery, and operations. Experience managing, and/or implementing transformation capabilities and/or functions at an enterprise level Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and to interact effectively at all levels of the organizations and to influence senior management and executives. Passion in evolving program management processes consistently across functional silos with a proven change management (OCM) expertise. Ability to be confident, respectful, and articulate when registering dissenting or unpopular opinions. Ability to manage multiple high-visibility and high-impact projects while maintaining superior results. Ability to work cross-functionally, individually, and leading a team.
