About the role
Connex Education are working with a large mainstream primary school based in Whitby who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team and work full time within the schools EYFS cohort, mainly in nursery with children aged 3-4 to start immediately
About the school
This primary school has a creative and enthusiastic community and as a Teaching Assistant there, you will be supported by a welcoming team of teachers, teaching assistants and support staff and you will be responsible for assisting the teachers and supporting the pupils in Early Years.
Assignment Details
This role is Monday - Friday so the right candidate MUST be able to work full time. This role is ongoing with an immediate start.

Person Specification
* Level 3 Qualification or Equivalent to work in EYFS
* Have experience of supporting pupils in a primary environment, in a nursery or in a healthcare setting
* Be confident working with small groups
* Good Knowledge of Additional Needs and EYFS Curriculum
* Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one with Connex
