Your new opportunity:
Operating within a fast-paced environment, this role is responsible for delivering response maintenance repairs, ensuring repair requests are carried out efficiently and cost-effectively whilst delivering a first-class service to our customer. This role will focus on the provision of Response Repair Services and Void Works, including surveying, fault finding, roofing repairs, and general joinery works.
Key Responsibilities:
1. 1st and 2nd fix duties including all ironmongery repairs, kitchen installation, all types of door installation, and glazing.
2. Working on void and tenanted properties.
3. Working with other team members to provide a courteous and considerate service to clients and tenants.
4. Work under the instruction of the site supervisor, endeavouring to meet the needs of clients and tenants.
5. Observe the highest levels of health and safety, and use appropriate safety equipment of the client.
6. Ensure areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the day.
7. Ensure accurate completion and timely submission of any relevant site-based or company documentation electronically or paper-based as per requirements of the contract.
8. Perform the job in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
9. Perform any other duties as may be reasonably required from time-to-time.
Our Requirements:
Essential
1. Be time served or appropriately qualified and be able to demonstrate relevant experience.
2. 1st & 2nd fix joinery.
3. Must be able to demonstrate a high level of experience and sound knowledge in the delivery of minor building and maintenance joinery services.
4. Valid CSR Card.
5. Must be available for Out of Hours callouts on a rotational basis.
6. Full driving licence.
Preferred
1. Experience in the social housing sector.
2. Working at Heights Harness training.
3. Good communication skills to meet and deal with our customers.
4. PVC floor and ceramic wall tiling.
5. Able to use a PDA, smartphone, or mobile working device.
