Engagement Lead
Whitehall Resources are currently looking for an Engagement Lead.
You will be required to use an FCSA Accredited Umbrella Company for this role.
Key Requirements:
1. The role holder will report to the Head of CTO Change Portfolio Management and will operate as the dedicated PMO Engagement Lead for at least one of the CTO Areas.
2. The role holder will:
* Partner with Areas' stakeholders, Project and Program Sponsors & Transformation Leads across all CTO Portfolios and collaborate with them on a regular basis.
* Work as a single point of contact between Areas and the Central PMO function.
* Support the effective delivery of the Area's portfolio outcomes, ensuring these are aligned to the organisational strategic requirements and priorities.
* Work along with Area stakeholders to drive the delivery of accurate and timely plans.
* Report on Area's portfolio health back to the PMO Lead, Head of PMO Change Management and ExCo.
* Identify thematic Risks and Issues for the Area and report these back to Central PMO.
* Ensure the Area's programmes adhere to Frameworks and standards.
* Support Area's annual planning activities, advise on best methods and perform health checks on resource supply and demand requirements.
* Ensure Area's programmes are well interlocked with other programmes within Technology and are well understood and managed.
* Not own any governed programmes or projects but will be responsible for monitoring the Area's Programmes/Portfolios/projects.
Key Experience:
1. Very good understanding of Portfolio management frameworks, methodologies, and best practice techniques.
2. Pro-active problem-solving skills with strong experience of negotiating, documenting and presenting recommendations to deliver shared outcomes.
3. Critical thinking, able to work under pressure to challenging timescales and deliver at pace.
4. Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills - Proven experience of exposure to Senior stakeholders is critical.
5. Very good leadership skills and ability to engage and bring different teams together.
6. Strong understanding and experience of financial planning processes including forecasting, management of variances and common project accounting principles (e.g. cash, directs and P&L accounting).
7. Very good time management skills and ability to work under challenging timescales to deliver at pace.
8. Experience of programme and project management methods (e.g. MSP, PMI, Prince2).
9. Experience of continuous improvement.
10. Strong knowledge of technology infrastructure products and platforms and fintech.
11. Strong/ in-depth reporting skills as data reported to CTO level. Ability to turn around ad-hoc requests into high-level reports for senior management.
