Seacroft Marine Consultants are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised, self-motivated professional to join our finance team as an Assistant Accountant. Responsibilities include processing invoices, managing transactions, project analysis and assisting with month-end reporting to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes.
Responsibilities
1. Sales Ledger, timely and accurate invoicing
2. Credit control
3. Project / job list analysis
4. Review of Purchase Ledger invoices to ensure correct NC allocation.
5. Processing of Purchase Ledger invoices and resolve invoice queries (Holiday cover for Accounts Administrator)
6. Assistance in preparation of month end accruals and prepayment entries
7. Provide ad hoc analysis and support to the business where required
8. Prepare / review Financial Control procedures
Qualifications & Experience
1. AAT Qualified, Part Qualified Accountant or Qualified by experience
2. Proficiency in XERO software
3. Five years relevant accounting experience required
