Senior/Principal Building Services (Mechanical) Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior or Principal Building Services (Mechanical) Engineer to join our client, a leading property and construction consultancy, in their Billericay office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced engineer to work on a variety of high-profile projects across different industry sectors, including commercial, health, education, defence, residential, and community.
About the Role
* Work closely with the Engineering Associate/Director to deliver projects to a high technical standard, on time, and on budget.
* Collaborate with more junior staff to provide technical guidance and support.
* Conduct feasibility studies, prepare tender reports, and review contractor's final accounts.
* Meet with clients to establish project briefs and budget costs.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out fee-earning work, including design of schemes and site works management.
* Draw up detailed specifications and drawings against client briefs.
* Monitor site works against specification requirements.
* Manage day-to-day workload of individuals reporting directly to you.
Requirements
* Degree/Master's degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
* Member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers and/or The IET.
* Chartered Engineer status or approaching.
* Experience using Amtech, IES, AutoCAD, and Revit software.
Salary and Benefits
* Salary: £55k - £75k (Guide only - DOE)
* Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays, increasing with service.
