SaferHandCare are looking for motivated Team Leaders to provide 121 care to children.
Role
You will provide advice, assistance and support to young people, safeguarding their welfare at all times. Ensuring that the practical, physical and emotional needs are met at all times.
You would work within a team to achieve the aims and objectives of the home. Attending young people's meetings and contributing accordingly.
Your role as a Team Leader is to encourage our children and young people towards a brighter future. Supporting young people to thrive both within personal relationships and the wider society that they live.
Shift Patterns
Our client offers the following shift patterns:
Long days including Sleep in's on a 2 on 4 off rota, averaging 155 hours per month with an average of 6 sleep ins per month.
Requirements
* The right to work in the UK
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* A warm, compassionate, nurturing, and caring nature
* Ability to work with understanding, tact and patience
* Committed to providing person-centered care
* 1-year experience in residential childcare plus Level 3 Children & Young People Award or equivalent
* Experience working with Children and Young People
* Experience of working within and leading a team
* Driver (company provides a car during working hours)
* Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, nights, and weekends)
* Willing and able to be part of Management on call system
