Salary details: Grade 7 £25,969 - £28,665 depending on experience (£28,176 - £31,101 including 8.5% unsociable hours allowance for full time employees)

Here in Doncaster, we are expanding our residential service for Children with Disabilities and are looking to recruit to our short break service and to our Childrens home.
We are currently looking to recruit for Residential Care Officers to work under the supervision and advice of the Residential Manager, Deputy Manager and Senior Care Officers within these services for Children with Disabilities.
As a Residential Care Officer, you will work sensitively as a team member in providing a warm, caring, enabling environment designed to fulfil the emotional, social and physical needs of children living with disabilities.
The Residential Care Officer will deliver care and support in the children’s home based on the principles of quality care reflecting privacy, dignity, choice and fulfilment and independence. The residential care service within the particular establishment will be provided in accord with the statements of purpose for the home, and Children and Families policy and procedures.
Sleep in duties are a requirement of the role and to undertake different shift patterns to meet the needs of the service.
The candidate will be willing to undertake any training required for the roll and must complete QCF level 3 within two years of enrolment, as this is mandatory requirement of children’s homes regulations. The candidate will also be competent to attend training and implement Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and Signs of Safety model.
