Junior Events Assistant
London | Hybrid Working
Temp Contract - ASAP start until July 2025
£25K Salary (pro rata)
A leading organisation is seeking an enthusiastic degree educated temporary Junior Events Assistant to support the planning and delivery of a year-round programme of academic and specialist events. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in events coordination.
This role is hybrid with 2 days in the office in central London.
Responsibilities
* Manage event queries, guest lists, and invitations.
* Support event planning, logistics, and venue coordination.
* Assist with event delivery, including set-up and audience engagement.
* Conduct research and support event evaluation.
* Ensure events are accessible and inclusive.
What You Need
* Degree Educated
* 6 months office + or events experience
* Some experience in in-person event coordination.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing needs.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and record-keeping.
* Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
