An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished and inspiring practitioner to lead our Design Technology Department from September 2025. The successful applicant will join a thriving and forward thinking department with a real passion for engaging and enthusing pupils at all levels in all areas of this diverse and popular subject.
Responsibilities
1. Teach Design Technology from KS3 up to A Level standard.
2. Engage and motivate pupils in various disciplines, including Product Design, Graphic Design, and Architecture.
3. Utilize professional-level CAD software and CAM provisions, including 3D printing and CNC routers.
4. Develop innovative and creative design students who can communicate their ideas effectively.
Qualifications
1. Qualified teacher status.
2. Experience teaching Design Technology at the relevant levels.
3. Experience with the International Baccalaureate is desirable but not essential.
