Graduate Quantity Surveyor
Candidates who have at least one year of practical experience with a main contractor on refurbishment projects in London & the South East will be preferred for this role.
To undertake Quantity Surveying duties to support your Manager to maintain established profit margins and improve wherever possible Mulalley & Company’s profits and ensure that all team members act in accordance with Company policy at all times in respect of all financial dealing on behalf of the Company.
Key Responsibilities of a Mulalley & Co. Graduate QS
• Carry out Quantity Surveying functions to support the management of measurement, valuations, applications for payment and the final account with the client and their representatives.
• Preparation and/or checking of sub-contractor measurements in relation to applications for payment, preparation of contra charges and agreement of final accounts.
• Undertake sub-contract procurement duties as directed by your Manager
Knowledge & Skills needed for this role
• Are able to communicate effectively with the team and with the supply chain.
• Are able to demonstrate an understanding of the construction process
• Are able to demonstrate the ability to be able to work in an analytical way with attention to detail.
• Degree qualified in a relevent subject to the role
