Job Title Assistant Accountant Job Description Summary Job Description Assistant Accountant Global Occupier Services - Finance Birmingham Cushman & Wakefield have a great opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join our expanding Global Occupier Services Finance team. The main focus of the role will include transactional processing for a portfolio of clients to ensure all payments are processed and allocated on time. Core Responsibilities: Ensure all AP invoices are accurately posted in the system within agreed SLAs. Complete supplier account reconciliations to recover any monies due to our clients. Monitor and maintain VAT tick off for Head Lease Payments. Generate payment runs and process BACS/Credit Transfers. Cash Allocation – matching receipts in bank to outstanding charges. Daily reconciliation of common payment and receipt accounts. Handle queries from internal and external stakeholders. Maintain all banking systems ensure adequate access for all individual for approvals and authorisations levels. Core Knowledge and Experience: Working knowledge of AP & AR processes. Proficient in English writing. Skills and Personal Qualities: Accuracy and attention to detail. Confidence to interact with multiple stakeholders. IT literate to include intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication. Excellent time management skills. Process driven and appreciates the importance of effective controls. Team Player.
