Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Assistant Respiratory Physiologist to join the Respiratory Physiology team to assist with the delivery of lung function, sleep, bronchoscopy and pleural intervention services. Main duties of the job The post holder will work within the team to assist with the delivery of lung function, sleep, bronchoscopy and pleural intervention services, with or without direct supervision from a qualified Physiologist. Quality assured spirometry is provided in both hospital and community settings. The post holder will assist with the sleep service, to include the posting out of equipment and ensuring its return. In addition, the post holder will assist with general duties such as administration, the unpacking of stock and replenishment of supplies and other appropriate duties to support the physiology team with their workload.
