5 AXIS CAD/CAM Programmer - HYPERMILL
As a 5 AXIS CAD/CAM Programmer, you will be an integral part of Pulse Engineering's high-tech precision engineering company and its production processes, creating complex and interesting parts on our exceptional quality 5-axis automated cells. Your key responsibilities include:
* CNC Programming: Develop high-quality 3 and 5-axis CNC programs using the latest Hypermill software.
* Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work using Tricorn Scheduling software and input data into Shop Floor Data Capture to track efficiency across all jobs.
* Complex Part Programming: Design intricate high-precision components for CNC mills and lathes.
* Post Processor Resolution: Resolve post-processing issues to ensure seamless execution.
* Shop Floor Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our shop floor team to prove and optimize programs.
* Manufacturing Methods: Plan efficient manufacturing methods, including jig and fixture design.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
* Estimating Support: Utilize your expertise to assist with cutting time estimates.
* Technical Assistance: Provide shop floor support as needed.
We seek a candidate with the following qualifications:
* Experience: Proven experience in CNC programming and CAD/CAM software (Hypermill).
* Precision Engineering: Familiarity with complex part programming for 3 and 5-axis CNC mills.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot post-processor issues and optimize programs.
* Technical Acumen: Understanding of manufacturing methods and operating procedures.

This is a permanent job with excellent pay rates, offering a starting salary dependent on experience. You must have current UK right to work to be considered.
Estimated salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
