Banding: Band 8a
Location: Whitehaven
Duration: Ongoing
Working Pattern: 3 days/week
Rate: Day: £34 – £39 per hour
About the role:
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 8a Virtual Ward/Governance Pharmacist to join our team in Whitehaven. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of pharmaceutical care within our virtual ward and governance framework.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide expert pharmaceutical care within a virtual ward setting.
* Ensure compliance with governance standards and protocols.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
* Conduct medication reviews and provide clinical advice.
* Participate in the development and implementation of governance policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
* GPhC registered.
* ACT Accredited.
* Experience in a supervisory role within a pharmacy setting.
* Previous experience in a virtual ward and/or governance role is preferable.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
* Flexibility to adapt to remote working arrangements if necessary.
