We are looking for someone with drive and at least 2-years sales experience to join our team. Mega Glass is fortunate enough to have many loyal customers, but they need more of our time to ensure that their loyalty is supported by an excellence of customer service and relevant information about our product range. The focus of this role is Supply Only customers. The Sales representative will be responsible for consolidating and building the business with these customers by creating their own dynamic relationships, visiting and revisiting them on a regular basis to build their purchase spend by understanding their needs (be it product, technical support, displays, samples etc) and facilitating improvements in our delivery to them. Equally important will be the need to identify and develop new customers, with particular emphasis on our weekly delivery routes.
Mega Glass is a glass manufacturing company for the internal fit-out sector that has always put customer service at its core, so we are looking for a sale rep with the same attitude; someone who focuses on building long term, mutually beneficial relationships with customers.
Our preferred applicant will have:
* Been a sales rep in the UK for a minimum of 2 years, with proven experience of both account management and new sales generation
* Experience of selling B2B: Your customers will include Glass Shops, Joinery companies, Shop Fit-out companies, Furniture workshops, local Building companies, Property renovation/refurbishment companies, Maintenance teams at independent/small hotel groups, Interior Design companies
* Previous experience in glass or joinery will be highly beneficial but you will also likely have transferable skills if you have worked in Sales for construction, building loft conversion industries, KBB or similar
* Is technically minded; likely to be able to read architects drawings, see things in 3D so can work out how something will look from an illustration, ability to explain how things work, can be put together etc
* The ability to build a CRM spreadsheet to record all details of all contacts in real time, identifying and scheduling in those that require regular visits, with ability to filter by company type, area, last contact date etc
We are looking for someone who is:
* Driven and wants to make their mark at Mega Glass; someone for whom the thought of making a minimum of 150 face-to-face visits every 6 weeks, each one recorded and followed up in some way is an engaging challenge rather than a daunting task
* Excited by the idea of also chasing up on client enquiries, assisting the Estimating team in turning project leads into live jobs
Terms
Package £35,000 plus commission structure + company car (or contribution to own car)
Business related expenses will be paid including parking
Attending head office in Dunstable (LU5) at least once per week (must live within 40 mile radius of LU5 5TA)
