We are recruiting for a Digital Product Owner with a focus on Innovation to join our Marketing Department based at our Innovation Centre in Bedford, UK. This role reports to the Marketing Director Global Fertility Innovation based in Geneva, Switzerland and works closely with the Software Team based in Bedford, UK. Accelerating innovation is a critical priority at SPD, with this role central to this focus. At high velocity, this role manages the development and delivery of consumer-centric apps to enable consumer diagnostic products. The role bridges marketing and technical teams and requires close collaboration and influencing of multi-functional innovation project teams. This role will enable you to work with cutting-edge medical device software applications in a mobile-centric world. We are looking for someone who can design and deliver digital app products whilst managing conflicting priorities between functions. You will be the key lead and liaison in delivering innovative digital app products. Main Responsibilities You will be responsible for designing digital app products and will be the key liaison in delivering these products; Translate consumer & business requirements to technical solutions in partnership with Software team and be the vision keeper for the app Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, emphasizing compliance and quality assurance Act as a liaison between stakeholders, regulatory teams, and the development team to ensure alignment on compliance issues. Plan and execute consumer experiments (e.g., 1Q, A/B testing, Transactional Learning Experiments, User Testing), mine usage and analytics data to uncover consumer insights, delighters, points of friction and opportunities in order to recommend iterative improvements of product/user experience/value Support the Brand Director in designing and refining the overall product strategy Contribute to future innovation development under guidance of Marketing team Create and manage the product roadmap with accountability for delivery timings Initiate, own and manage the app development Critical Path Schedule with the support of the Project Manager. The successful candidate will have… Extensive relevant work experience as a Product Owner with broad, in-depth experience of managing the end-to-end lifecycle of digital products/apps in a wide range of products/sectors, including direct-to-consumer digital solutions (such as app & websites) Preferable to have some experience in healthcare or other regulated industries (ideally experience of working in a medical device company or QMS (ISO13485, ISO62304) Proven technical background in some of the areas below:Programming languages Hosting environment (ideally Azure or AWS) Data modelling Design UX/UI process Proven expertise in issue and project tracking software tools (such as JIRA) Expertise in crafting user stories Experience with testing hypotheses rapidly on digital platforms (e.g. A/B testing, UserTesting, Google trends, Google Keyword Planner etc.) Highly organised individual with proven track-record of digital project management Advanced problem solver to manage through conflicting priorities.
