Job Description
Our team in Darlington are seeking an experienced Administrator, to provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative service. Do you pride yourself on great organisation skills, with an eye for detail and a methodical ‘can do’ attitude? If yes, then we would love to hear from you.
As part of this role, you will:
1. Proactively support the smooth running of the administrative functions within the service
2. Be responsible for welcoming clients to our service
3. Maintain and create record-keeping systems as required
4. Be responsible for the receipt and processing of all referrals, screening, triage and comprehensive assessments, to input NDTMS/demographic and personal details using computerised systems
5. Support the service to meet local health and safety requirements
6. Generate prescriptions in preparation for signing by relevant clinicians
7. Support the management team in maintaining high levels of data quality and information management
8. Support the wider team with commitments, to include organising diaries, allocating, arranging, cancelling and rebooking meetings and events
9. Be responsible for taking, transcribing and distributing formal minutes for meetings
The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in a similar role, ideally within a business support or office function. You will have excellent IT skills, including the ability to collate data and use and manage databases. You will have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. It is essential that you are able to manage competing/conflicting demands on your own initiative and are comfortable managing your own workload. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do, with a positive and engaging approach.
