Bookkeeper with Payroll Responsibilities

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and run weekly payroll using Sage 50.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Record Keeping: Document and monitor financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Payroll Processing: Run weekly payroll using Sage 50, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and file financial documents, generate financial reports, and assist with tax filings.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
• Support: Assist with other accounting tasks as needed and collaborate with staff accountants.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Sage 50 and other accounting software.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
