This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, offering a hybrid work arrangement of two days in the office and the remaining at home.
The position
Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive business insights? Do you excel in stakeholder management and strategic planning? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Commercial Excellence Executive at Novo Nordisk.
In this role you will:
1. Ensure data integrity and accuracy of customer and frontline activity data (Data Lake, QlikSense).
2. Drive adoption and usage of IO Engage as a CRM tool, collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting business activities.
3. Lead key process improvements for customer segmentation, profiling, and activity planning to align with sales capacity.
4. Perform regular analyses of field force performance, incentive schemes, and propose data-driven improvement plans.
5. Support insights generation through data modelling and statistical techniques to inform business strategies.
You will also implement and oversee tools that track customer activities and investments, including Multi channel Engagement (MCE), field force actions, and service teams.
Qualifications
To thrive and succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:
6. Degree in business, finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field (Marketing/Business qualifications desirable).
7. Proven background in Business Intelligence/Analytics with database management; experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector is required.
8. Expertise in PowerBI is considered a significant advantage.
9. Expertise in data analysis tools (Excel, QlikSense, Tableau) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), with a strong ability to derive actionable insights.
10. Demonstrated experience in building relationships and working effectively across teams.
11. Excellent presentation, report writing, and verbal communication skills, with knowledge of NHS and UK market landscape being fundamental.
Additionally, strong stakeholder management skills and effective communication are essential, along with experience presenting project outcomes to end users.

You will join our Customer Engagement team, based at our office in Gatwick. Our team is dedicated to leveraging data to drive business insights and optimise customer engagement. We work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where every team member's contribution is valued. Our goal is to provide data-based insights that support business intelligence, optimise effectiveness, and predict business outcomes.
You will report directly to the Frontline Excellence Manager and join a talented team of five individuals across various therapeutic areas, you in particular will have a focus on Rare Disease and Market Access.
