The post holder will work with a team of pharmacy support workers and
apprentices in the Stores & Distribution areas. They will be responsible for managing medicines returns from wards and outpatient areas, accurately ordering/ picking of all stock medicines requested from wards and departments, hatch duty, stock receipt and stock control.
They will be responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Stores Team in the
provision of an efficient service to all users and in the day to day running of Pharmacy Stores Department following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
They will behave in a manner that is sensitive and that always ensures
patient confidentiality.
The post-holder will consistently work in an accurate, effective and efficient manner to support the provision of a high quality service to patients, trust staff and departments.

We are looking for dynamic individuals to join our team making medicines for patients internal and external to the trust including a large number of home-care patients. You will be involved in preparing a wide range of products and will rotate around the three areas of production gaining experience in a wide variety of manufacturing techniques.
GCSEs (Grade A – C) in Maths, English and Science are required, and previous experience of working in a pharmacy manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
